  1. Pick-up from Athens: Your driver will meet you at your hotel or desired location for pick-up. The travel time to Meteora is approximately 4.5 hours.

  2. Visit Meteora: Meteora, with its dramatic rock formations, is home to one of the largest complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. Originally, there were 24 monasteries, but only six remain operational today. During your visit, you’ll explore three of these monasteries, learning about their fascinating history and architecture.

  4. Leonidas Monument, Thermopylae: On the way back to Athens, we will make a stop at the battlefield of Thermopylae to admire the statue of King Leonidas, the heroic leader of the 300 Spartans who fought against the Persian army in 480 BC.
